Dr. Darr grew up in Thomasville and attended East Davidson High School in Davidson County. Her undergraduate work was completed at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. Following her undergraduate, she attended the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, graduating in 1999. Immediately upon graduating, Dr. Darr opened her private practice in Thomasville, North Carolina. Her wish was to return to her home town and provide quality dentistry to the community. Dr. Darr attends continuing education courses and seminars so she can offer her patients the latest procedures and technology. She is able to do a variety of procedures that normally have to be referred to a specialist. This allows our patients the comfort and security of a wide range of treatments with the professional whom they have established a rapport.

She is a member of several dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and the Seattle Study Club. In addition, she is a student of the Las Vegas Institute and the Dawson Academy.

Dr. Darr and her husband Ryan, have two children Kayla and Kade. As parents of young children, activities keep them both on the move. 

Tracy is the first voice and smiling face you will encounter in the office. With a caring nature and southern charm, she will take care of all of your scheduling needs. Tracy works to match your schedule with openings and is dedicated to any special needs our patients may have. Tracy has been with Dr. Darr, in Thomasville since January 2006, she brings over 15 years of excellent customer service to her position. With her education is business, Tracy is ready to handle any issues accurately and professionally. 

Tracy lives in the Trinity area with her husband Cale and their farm animals. They have a daughter and son in-law; Megan and Zane, a son and daughter in-law; Grayson and Ana, and four grandchildren, Laykn, Aaliyah, Oakley and  Lucas. Tracy and Cale enjoy spending time at their farm and tending to their animals as well as going antiquing in their spare time and loving on their grandbabies. 

Julie is known as the "sunshine" of the office. She radiates her positive and upbeat demeanor to all she comes in contact with. Julie assists Dr. Darr with all treatments performed. Through her continuing education she is proficient in all restorative procedures as well as Implant Surgeries and Cerec Same Day Crowns. Julie is one of four OraSpa specialist in our office and loves to share the "softer side of dentistry" with her patients. Julie is also excellent in her communication and educating patients. She exudes compassion that is obvious upon first meeting her. Julie has worked in dentistry since 2003 after attending Guilford Technical Community College. She worked in her home city of Winston-Salem, until joining the Team with Dr. Darr in May of 2006. Julie lives in Wallburg with her "four legged furry child" Gracie Mae. Julie is greatly involved in her community spreading her usual upbeat view with all she meets.

Tonda has been a member of Team Darr since June of 2015. Whether it's cleaning children's teeth or working with our periodontal maintenance patients, she is able to use her knowledge of the latest techniques to provide you with the best patient experience possible. Tonda graduated from Guilford Technical Community College in 2009 and has been working in the field ever since. Tonda is one of four OraSpa specialist in our office and loves to share this "softer side of dentistry" with her patients. Tonda currently lives in Midway with her husband Evan, 3 children; Trinity, Chrissa, and Lee, and their 2 dogs. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, gardening, and cooking.

Amy has been a member of Team Darr. since 2020. Specializing in hygiene and patient care, Amy never fails to make her patients feel at ease in her chair. Amy is known as the firecracker of the office and never fails to make the office a lively place. Amy graduated from Guilford Technical Community College in 1994 and has been in the industry ever since. Amy is also a certified OraSpa specialist and loves showing patients the "softer side of dentistry". Amy lives in Trinity with her husband Mark and two children Bryant and Ben. In her spare time, Amy enjoys teaching workout classes at the the YMCA, beach trips with friends and family and spending time with her husband and two children. 

Kayla started with Team Darr in May of 2022. Kayla graduated high school in 2018 from Wesleyan Christian Academy and played two years of collegiate basketball at Bridgewater College in Harrisonburg, VA. Since then, Kayla has learned the ropes of insurance and assists all of our patients with understanding their benefits and the best way to use them for their dental care. Kayla also received her  x-ray certification and assists Dr. Darr in new patient appointments and emergency visits. In her spare time, Kayla enjoys devoting time to her family and friends, as well as furthering her social media marketing business. Kayla is always ready to learn new things and loves assisting patients with all of their insurance and treatment plan needs.
